|Bob Wier in his post mentioned the film Congo as containing 3D in it but is
|not actualy 3D. I am not shure what the 3D connection is but in earlier
|postings I think it was mentioned that a gorilla uses a viewmaster viewer.

Yeah - that was my point. You get lots of REFERENCES to 3D but nobody
is actually producing it. I happened to have Congo in the VCR last, night
and checked. The scene has Amy (the Gorilla) looking at a book "Wild Safari
(in 3D))". Both the mail lead and the gorilla are wearing what appears to
be red/green glasses. Slight technical problem there - gorillas don't
have ears big enough to hook the earpieces over. They just have the middle
part of a cardboard pair of glasses stuck on "her" nose. The male lead
(I forget his name) is wearing standard cardboard glasses. In the
scene, somebody say to him "Nice Glasses!" :-)
I wonder if that's a "real" book?
