query anaglyph projection

Thought I'd try again since I don't think I was sufficiently clear. I'm
working on a theater piece that may require that I project cyan/magenta
anaglyphs because I suspect that polarized images will not be viewable from the
rather wide angles theaters require .
 Can this be done?
Does anyone have any experience making and projecting anaglyphs?
What's the best way to go from prints or b&w pairs to slides? Is there a
strictly photographic process available, or is digital and then to slide the
best bet?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
