query anaglyph projection

this is a continuation of a query I made six or eight weeks ago about projecting
3d images for a theater piece I'm organizing.  I got a lot of helpful responses
on the last one ...thanks.  Anyway, does anyone have any experience making and
projecting black and white anaglyphs?  what's the best way to go from prints or
b&w pairs to slides?  Is there a stricctly phographic process or is digital and
then to slide the best bet?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
