"Run for cover, earthlings:  Marvin the Martian, the little dude in the helmet,
skirt, and sneakers, is launching his own alien invasion.

"The latest sighting was in Germany, where a 12-minute, 3D cartoon called
'Marvin the Martian in the 3rd Dimension' opened in June.  In October, it will
have its American premier at New York's Fifth Avenue Warner Bros. Studio Store
in a new 74-seat theater complete with ceiling 'water sprayers' so the audience
can feel it when Marvin waters his 'Instant Martian' pellets.  The store will
also unveil a shop devoted to Marvin, with goodies like Marvin T-shirts and
cameras that take 3D pictures.

Thanks go to my husband, Lee, for sighting this tonight while reading the TV
Guide upon our return from the Rochester NSA 3D convention.  Anybody who gets to
the New York Studio Store in October, please let the rest of us know how well
Marvin the Martian does in 3D.  Way cool indeed!
