NSA '97 Conflicts of scheduling

Hi All,

I noticed on yesterday's news relating to the potential fossilized Martian
bacteria that there was a planned Martian probe landing on Mars on July 4,
1997. This would likely be of interest to many of those interested in
Westercon that weekend. (for those not following this thread, it's the same
weekend and same geographical vicinity as NSA '97) I doubt that stereo views
of the landing will be available from JPL but I would guess that they could
develop some of their models of what's happening in stereo, if they chose
to. That would be of interest to those in this group. Any stereophiles here
that work for JPL? It seems that that particular weekend is scheduled to be
very busy!!!

Maybe the NSA '97 group or members thereof could "sponsor" a Martian 3D
event/booth/display at the Westercon? (Just a thought) In cooperation with
JPL or NASA?
