Criminals?

Okay, as much as I hate to bring this up, I find that I must.  So first I will
apologize for bringing up an unpleasant subject and ask that you bear with me
through this...

As a few of you know by now, the RV that my husband I drove to Rochester (to
attend the convention) was broken into on Sunday where it was parked right in
front of the Holiday Inn where the NSA convention was going on (yes, in broad
daylight--midafternoon).  The thiefs took off with our camera bag, and a virtual
cornucopia of other delights.  

I bring this up only to ask if anyone out there has heard of any other NSA-ers
who were robbed or otherwise criminally accosted while in Rochester to please
let us know.  The police are involved, and are hoping to catch the perps
(they've got good fingerprints).  We need to know who else went through a
similar experience.  

Frankly, I don't want this to muddy the waters and make folks feel bad about the
convention, so a private e-mail to us instead of posting on this mail list would
be better.  Thanks.  

Oh, and by the way, we're fine.  It could have been a whole lot worse, so we're
grateful for what didn't happen that could have.  And, yes, we still loved the
convention and feel very good about it.  It's just the city of Rochester that
sorta gives us the heeby-jeebies now...
