All this talk of having things stolen has brought to my mind my very first
Realist, which I bought used in the 1950s for $35, if memory serves, and which
went out the window of my bedroom one afternoon about fifteen years ago, along
with several thousand dollars of other photographic equipment. The Realist had
the name "Morris Zinn" stamped on its back. I've often wondered if it ever found
a good home. Has anybody on the list ever encountered "Morris Zinn"'s (and
subsequently my) Realist? I don't need it back now, but I'd die a happier man if
I knew someone was using it who gave a damn.
