The model 1 1/2 that I have has the removeable tongue. It makes for a very
nice
lorgnette viewer. I can finally enjoy the stereo pairs in StereoWorld. Even
my wife,
who could never fuse a pair with the cheap lorgnette viewer supplied with a
StereoWorld subscription, was finally able to see these pairs in stereo.
 Alan was
kind enough to send along a note with the scope telling me this is the first
model
with the removeable tongue. Hmmmmm...sounds like a real collectors item I've
got.
Anybody want to trade for a Realist Macro? :-)
