English, and I'm sure all other languages, is FULL of "misnomers" in that words
have evolved to mean something not strictly related to their origin. Even though
the root of the word "anaglyph" refers to something else, today it is used, in
the context of 3D, to refer to red/blue 3D images, and you'd really confuse a
conversation among 3Ders if you insisted on using it in any other context.
