|I don't remember anybody mentioning the way I just read in Three-Dimensional
|Projection by Earl E. Krause. You take another slide and put it in the carrier,
|then push it HALF way in, then withdraw the slider. Both slides will be half exposed,
|and you can pull them both out with your fingers.

|Another question... what's the *rear* carrier slot on a TDC 116 for? The front slot
|is for Realist format slides. What kind of camera generated slides of this
|rear carrier size?

Hi Rick - the "half slide" method is what I've used a bit on my
TDC project or view. I also seem to recall that the back slide
channel was for a second changer so you could use other formats
in the same machine - I never saw one - I presume it was a single
35 mm slide size. I found that back slot to be very inconvenient
because it leaked light all over the place - I eventually put
black electrical tape over it...
