Light readings continued

There seems to be a confusion over what I wrote on averaging light meters and grey cards. To quote from the "Negative" by good ol' Ansel: 

"A calibrated middle grey value exists in the Kodak 18 percent reflectance neutral gray card, available at most camera stores or bound into several of Kodak's publications. The 18 percent reflectance value is mathematically a middle grey on a geometric scale from 'black' to 'white', and it is this value that the meter is calibrated to reproduce in the final print."
