Re: 3Discover

Me too, me too! I want to be a dealer too!
OK, let's see, half the photo-3d list will be the dealers and the other half the customers... That will be great!
(Parenthesis: This reminds me of the following story... My wife, when trying to explain my 3-d activities to friends and relatives, says that we are a small group of people who buy and sell among each other. "One year you sell something to someone, the other year you buy it back from them!" were her exact words -talking about a closed system!-. I thought it was funny until I saw Harry Richards selling in Rochester the Keystone Telebinocular viewer that I sold last year to him. In all seriousness he asked me if I wanted to buy it back! Close parenthesis)
Seriously, this is a great system and I only promote products that I use and like (e.g. you won't see me selling beamsp..., I mean mirrorthingies). I like the 3Discover and would not mind selling it. But if it is going to have a future, the challenge is not to sell it to other 3-d enthusiast, but to the general public. People who don't know what 3-d is all about.
>From the reactions of the people at work, I see that the system has the
potential. It is all a matter of marketing and price. With VM being labelled a kids toy, this might be the only serious adult substitute.
I do not recall seeing earlier postings regarding 3Discover. Can any one give us more information on:
- History
- Makers (who shoots the stereo pictures?) - Technical details
Thanks! -- George Themelis
