Las Vegas NSA Convention

What happened to the discussion about Las Vegas as a site for a NSA
Convention?  It seemed to die out.  Isn't anyone going to contact some
hotels and get some rates according to the requirements? A decent proposal
could be presented to the NSA Board of Directors for a decision. And they
just might listen.   It seems that Las Vegas has the potential to be a
wonderful location for a convention especially with the new 3D theatre there
(don't know if it's open as yet)

If NSA isn't interested, how about a photo 3-d convention?  We could have
workshops, stereo theatre, trade show - you can forget the need for a
banquet room - food's always bad anyway.  It could start small and grow.

Think about it, I'm serious.
