If you made the exposure with lens cap or hat..for several minutes this
was not a problem. William Henry Jackson mentions in his biography "Time
Exposure" CP Putnam 1940 that he had stereo lens board to interchange
with his single lens lensboard on a 5x8 camera. He also mentions that
exposure was uncertain and you did not know if you had the picture until
it was developed. BobH
