A true 3D CD

Hi all,

Now that you've all gotten the Tribe Called Quest CD... I was listening to
one of my favorite collections last night, one that I've had for nearly 4
years, and discovered to my astonishment that the back cover features a true
stereo photographic pair!  It's "Reckless Nights and Turkish Twilights - the
music of Raymond Scott" on Columbia.  Scott's music is probably familiar to
you, even if you don't know it.  His compositions "Powerhouse, " "The Toy
Trumpet," and "Dinner Music for a Pack of Hungry Cannibals" were, well,
cannibalized by Carl Stalling and others scoring early Warner Brothers
cartoons.   I always thought that the double-image on the back cover was just
some kind of design element, but I free-viewed it and it turns out to be a 3D
photo of Scott probably taken in the late 30's with a box stereo camera.  I
can't believe I didn't notice it earlier.   The music is mono and marvellous.
