IMAX - New York update etc.

I visited the Sony the Imax Theater in New York last week and
saw Across the Sea of Time - The souvenir stand next to the
theater was closing out most merchandise at 50% off,
including the Viewmaster reels with scenes from this movie. -
Before the movie began, they showed a preview of an upcoming
3D science fiction movie. (Sorry, I don't remember the
title), but it looks like it will be good. -
I thought Across the Sea of Time was a considerably better
movie than Wings of Courage, which I saw last year.
I was also impressed by the large mirror stereoscopes in the
display area, which worked very well with the large blowups of
stereo cards. - Only problem with them was that no
instructions on how to use them were visible, and most
visitors to the display area seemed pretty confused by them.
- Also on Saturday morning August 24th, I was standing
outside the NBC studios at Rockefeller Center with my Stereo
Realist - I was snapping pictures of the Saturday Today show
cast, who were doing part of the show outside the studio -
when Saturday today co-host Jody Applegate, pointed a microphone
at me, and interviewed me about my camera. - She then asked me
to take a picture of her and co-host Jack Ford, which I did.
