My hat's off to George!

My hat's off to George Themelis ! He took the time to read my posting
regarding the pros and cons of 5-P format and took it in the context it was
intended.
Regarding the Fed, I too admit it does have problems. There have been
changes made in the last little while, and I hope there's enough
encouragement that continue making changes. Perhaps Joel Alpers has more
insight to this.
After I posted the original message I did realize I left out twin rigs,
again George came to the rescue and pointed this out.
My response to Marvin Jones' ridiculous attack is quite simple: Be sure
you've carefully read a posting before viciously tearing into it. There's no
room for this abuse in what I find an informative and interesting discussion
on 3-D. I was merely making a few points regarding other options beyond the
Realist and the 5-P format. I purposely started it in a manner to attract
attention, as so many times I've posted questions in the Digest and received
no response at all. This IS a format for opinions, and I subscribe to it to
get opinions other than my own. If you read the responses to my post, other
than your own, it had the exact effect I wanted: Intelligent responses that
further discussion and knowledge of a particular topic of interest.
I won't even quote what Mr. Jones posted, but if his language is what the
standard is for 3-D Digest, then I'd think twice about reading this
newsletter again. If Mr. Jones just wants to let off steam, he should try a
few newsgroups himself.
