In a message dated 96-09-01 19:55:26 EDT, you write:

<< I'd sure like to know. We've got V-M experts on the list
who can probably tell us. Seems like most everyone had a
V-M as a child so now all Tyco has to do is market a
V-M-Adult version of the viewer and some V-M-Adult reels
and they would have it made. I would suggest a quality
viewer with high-magnification lenses to bring out what
V-M can do. And don't sell them in toy stores to start
with even though I'm sure they could do that easily. There
has to be a real break with the toy version to make it happen.

Remember the N.S.A. has not sold out of any of the packets they have made
going back to Portland. That's only 1000 copies of each. With a membership in
the thousands we can't even sell 1000 packets to all the 3-D fanatics. Tyco
knows this and will not spend money on such a small market. In order to
develope an adult market there would have to be one, and I am very sorry to
say, that it does not exist.
The few collectors do not count, Tyco needs to sell 50,000 of an item for
them to make money not several hundred.

Most of the N.S.A. members do not even support our efforts with View-Master
so what can you expect from non 3-D collectors.
