How about Colorado Springs for a "western" convention? there about a 
zillion things to see and do here (Air Force Academy, Garden of the 
Gods, Flying W, 7 Falls, Pikes Peak, Cliff Dwellings, Will Rogers 
Memorial, etc., etc., etc... I remember Bob posting that there will be 
a new 3D IMAX in Denver by then, and that is only about 50 minutes away 
with our new 75 m.p.h. speed limits. =) 

Also, access would facilitated by our new Colorado Springs based 
airline, Western Pacific. Sample rates right now are: $49 each way from 
Dallas, $99 each way from Newark, Dulles (D.C.), Orlando. Makes it 
really affordable!

As to volunteers, I am sure that they could be found, I am one as it 
is...
