Marvin Jones replies to Sam Smith:

But Sam didn't do anything of the sort, Marvin. He simply indicated there
are alternatives to the Stereo Realist and its 5-P format which may be
better choices, at least for some people, and gave his reasons for saying
so. I found his post interesting and well worth reading, and would be
interested in seeing any sort of continuing discussion of the subject.

I don't own any of the 7-P type of cameras that he prefers. I have two
Realist-format cameras and two recently-acquired Nimslos, and have done some
full-frame, single-camera (weight shift) stereo stuff. But I'm always
interested in reading about the experiences of others with different kinds
of equipment, and what the reasons for their preferences are. If such
discussion leads to argument, so much the better as far as I'm concerned, as
argument is by its very nature one of the best means of exploring new and
different concepts.
