You are all assuming that because two photos were shot, they'd made a compatible
stereo pair. Camera angle, placement, and the accuracy of that so-called
"simultaneous" firing would play a big factor, too. I suspect that the
mysterious "Someone ELSE" would have to work harder than you might think to
create accurate stereo conversion!
