Some people will shoot events with two cameras with different focal 
length lenses. Say a medium telephoto and a wide angle. Take a pic at the 
critical moment and you have two good pix or at least an insurance shot 
if you blow the framing of the tele in the action. Can you see the 
lenses? If the lenses look to be the same size there's hope.
