I've got a "Peak" brand full-frame 35mm 8x loupe which uses two acrylic
elements. The objective is in fact round, but the second element is
the same size and shape as the 35mm frame. If one built an appropriate
holder, a pair would make an excellent viewer for full-frame 35mm.

They cost around $50 or so apiece.
