New to the list

Greetings to all.

I wanted to introduce myself to the list.  I am a police officer in the
Los Angeles area and though I'm not a devoted stereo photography
hobbyist, I do enjoy taking 3-D photos.

My father introduced me to stereo photography when I was a child with
his Stereo Realist.  I now have three Stereo Realists including a 2.8.

I had considered purchasing a custom 3-D camera, made from two 35mm
cameras by a company in Germany (forgot the name) but decided that the
money would be better spent elsewhere.

I took several stereo photos of the damage from the Northridge
Earthquake (Jan. 17, 1994) and had the opportunity to get into areas
closed to the public.  I'm considering posting some of these on my Web
page <http://www.csun.edu/~hfdps016> when I have the time and the means
of transferring these Realist format transparencies to jpg format.

Anyway, I'm sure that I will learn more than be able to contribute to
the technical conversations on the list.

If anyone has any experience with the custom 35mm stereo cameras from
Germany please give me your opinions and recommendations.
