Low contrast print film

There is ,in fact ,a low contrast print film widely marketed by Kodak.  
It is the Kodak Vericolor Professional VPS III. Sorry, it is sold only 
in size 120.  Made for wedding and portrait photographers who seek that 
soft,gauzy look all the time.  I wonder if anyone knows of a similar 
emulsion in 35 mm? Is Kodak listening?
