projected slide to the next.  Partly it's because we're not highly 
experienced projectionists like some of the people on this list.  
Partly it's poor or alternative-style mounting by the competitors.  
The result is that sometimes our 3-person projection crew is still 
racking in adjustments when it's time to go on to the next slide.  
Even when they're done adjusting it often isn't right because they 
can't see from the back of the room what the audience can see from 
the front of the room.  What's the cure?  I wonder if we shouldn't 
stress that competitors should mount to infinity instead of to the 
window.  That way we wouldn't have so many slides projected where 
infinity is 6" apart on the screen.  Our projection crew matches 
the top and bottom (and sides) of the projected apertures on the 
screen.  What should they do when the chips are incorrectly 
mounted vertically?  I'd say go for the content and forget the 
projected apertures but that's not so easy to do from the back of 
the room.  I know this all sounds pretty lame but what do you pros 
and semi-pros do?  Bob A?  Bob M?  Tony S?  I'm sure I've 
forgotten a few of you.
