No, the perspective is the other way 'round: It's the angle the object
subtends at the lens.

Yes there is a formula for stereo using relative aperture but I've never 
used it and don't recall it.  I think maybe Dr. T has mentioned it.  Anyone 
remember it?  Basically, the depth of field is set by the relative aperture 
and the on-film deviation is also set by the depth of field so the two can 
be linked.
