Alas, it's not a lovely art book from Japan or a collection of Civil War =
prints, and it won't be available for many months.

Ballantine Publishing Group in the US has looked at the success of =
Stephen King's GREEN MILE serialized novel (#s 1, 2, 7, 10, 11, and 12 on =
the mass-market paperback best-seller list), and decided to do the same =
for horror author John Saul. Installments of Saul's BLACKSTONE CHRONICLES =
will appear as separate volumes, each about a mysterious gift that one =
citizen of the town of Blackstone receives. June 1997's installment will =
be called DAY OF RECKONING: THE STEREOSCOPE. [Ominous descending chords]
