Wow!  Shows how you can take something remarkable and turn it into
something truly spectacular!

This is the same "ring in a sugar cube" graphics deal mentioned on
this list earlier - including the url for Science Magazine which
includes a QuickTime movie of the actual device in operation.

>From it we can see that most (if not all) of the L.A. Times article
is "Way Forward Wishful Thinking."

The decive requires a block of very expensive glass with "impurities"
in it as the image medium.

Don't hold off buying a used Realist because you are waiting for this
laser 3-D deal to be available at WalMart.
