Just a bummer note that usually "content" is copyrighted and use
of it is restricted to the subscriber of the on-line service.
Content providers specifically state that they do not want you
"electronically reproducing and/or disseminating" their
copyrighted material...
AND, since my other comment about this post got eaten by the
net monster, I'll say that:
This article shows that the L.A. Times can take something which
is simply remarkable and turn it into something truly amazing.
It is, however, "Way Forward Wishful Thinking."
This is the same thing we've had on this list, including the url
of Science Magazine, where you could find a QuickTime movie of
the technology in action - the "Ring-in-a-Sugar-Cube" movie.
Don't put off buying that used Realist because you are waiting
for this new Laser deal to be available at WalMart.
Those glass cubes with the rare earth impurities are mightly
costly - just ask Corning.
I also note that the military guy said:
"Hey, we can use this thing to kill people!"
