Re: Projector Adjustments, etc.

Way back in '86 (as but a lad) I was asked to run the one (1) (!!!)
projector at the San Jose (national) NSA meeting. There were, as
always, some very impressive stereo photographers there and a somewhat
overlapping set of spirited viewers. I decided that I would minimize
the critical comments by setting the horizontal adjustment on a
Realist mask, worry about vertical only if absolutely necessary, and
concentrate on focus. Good thing, too. Because Paul Wing walked up
to me, eyed me coldly, (we hadn't met) and rather sternly told me
NOT to touch the horizontal adjustment. Since then I've pretty much
followed his (and my) rule. Lived pretty much happily ever after, too.

And on the subject of the circle-in-a-sugar-cube display: I really
admire that woman's drive to make it work, and I hope she will be
able to make a commercial success out of it. But since the display
is transparent, someone (allanwx maybe?) better start on the
head-following hidden line removal algorithm.

Having been outspoken on those topics, I've decided not to even
THINK about Pepax.
