They go hand in hand. Easy 2D doesn't guarantee quality 2D, but it increases
the chance to obtain quality. When 3D is readily available, there will be
lots of low-quality 3D along with some level of high quality 3D. I'm sure
members of this group will be striving for the high quality level and using
their greater available knowledge and exposure to the methods to their
advantage.

John Q. Public has to have easily available 3D in order to begin gaining the
experience to learn what quality is. If it's not available, it can't happen.
