RE: Jamie bemoans the fact with his glasses he can't see the full field
in optical viewfinder on Realist. (I don't remember this problem with
cameras as I always 'mashed" the glasses against my face until I could
see it all!). I got contacts in 1955 and ended all my problems. However,
the best external viewfinder I made for its quality, and being single
frame approximatee the Realist format, was one extracted from a Canon
DEMI S half frame 35mm. This finder is one known as a Kepler finder and
has more elements than most lenses and give a suburb clear sharp view.
I don't know hoe good the eye relief is for viewing with glasses as I
was well into contacts by then. BobH
(the viewfinder is a unit so could be expoxied to a shoe for mounting. I
think I was trying to replace the folding Tessina finder when I dug one
out of a junk camera.)
