I don't have enough history to know.  There will be someone on the list who
will know.  Perhaps the 7-perf is a Euro standard and the 5-perf is a Mare-kin
standard.  Or perhaps there was some confusion in translating and rounding
off between metric and English measurements.  Bob Aldridge probably knows.
Or Alex Klein.  At any rate, they're very close.  I'll look them up when
I get home.  Maybe tomorrow.  This was a 14 hour day.  8-(
