Yes, just about any bozo can take a 3D picture with my Realist
camera, but the previous lister said *good* stereo picture. My
7 year old daughter took a couple of 3D pictures. Of course,
I threw them away because they were out of level and camera-shake
blurred. She also tried a few 2D pictures. Some of those I kept
because being out of level is not a big problem in 2D. It even
looks artistic in some cases! I think that taking a good 3D
picture is a bit more complicated than taking a good 2D picture.
By nature, not by choice.

Yes, but have you seen the kind of pictures they take? Inexpensive
fixed-focus 35 mm cameras were always available. What is new with
the current batch of P&S cameras is that they offer a higher degree
of automation, like autofocus. My observation is that more out-of-
focus pictures are taken with autofocus than fixed-focus cameras.
My brother was shooting with inexpensive cameras 25 years ago.
Because of the expense of film and processing he was putting
more thought to each picture resulting in much better composition
than many P&S snapshooters today.
Hearless George does not care much for the masses either...
