No one asked, but since this is a "Post-Only" list mainly, I'll do
my part...

I think the main problem with 3-D "for the masses" is that people
in general don't want to have to DO anything.

It is difficult enough to find someone who is willing to be curious
enough to find out about this 3-D illusion thing. A lot of people
take refuge in ignorance.

Some people are actually PROUD of the fact that their VCR clocks
display "12:00"

Mounting stereo pairs for projection requires something from the
mounter.

Have you noticed that a lot of people don't even want to take
and show colour slides? "Too d*** much trouble!"

Maybe having to use a special viewer is also too much trouble?
I don't think you can judge by the lenticular prints which have
been elusive - what with companies going in and out of existence.
Again, it has taken effort, caring and perserverance to get those
lenticular prints made.

I don't think people who don't even know how to spend time preparing
a meal are going to spend time learning about and developing a skill.

It takes a lot of people doing something to make it "popular."

I've said too much already.
I need that medication, now!
