In 1988 I was a graduate student with a family (wife and baby) and no 
money.  A $85 Realist 3.5 and a $3 viewer was all it took to get me 
started.  Both are available today.  Yes, a cheap and good system is 
available today.  We don't need to wait for the "revolution".  Cheap 
Realist-format cameras are still around.  BUT, it does take a half 
brain to use them properly.  Not everyone qualifies..., (flame shields 
on) possibly including some people in this list.... -- George
