At first I thought you were joking, but I am going to respond assuming that
you were serious.
The idea that there is no such thing as low quality results is completly
rediculous. Are you saying that all results are the same? If not, then
there must be a range from low to high quality. I don't see how a general
statement that all photos are works of art can do anything but degrade the
effort taken by people that put any kind of thought into there photos. Do
you believe that there is no such thing as low quality results of painters
and sculpters as well? What about computer programing? Are all computer
programs brilliant, and do they all give great results?
I hope that you were joking, because if you weren't ( I hate to get this
mean spirited over a general forum, but this one really pissed me off ) then
you are really a moron! Iether that, or you hate art in all its forms and
you honestly can't tell the difference between an image that has any thought
behind it, from the hole in your ass.
As far as companies being money hungry in there pricing of new products, I
would like to know if you have ever been involved the developement and
production of any product? If you had been you would know that no matter
how simple the product may be, it could take years, and thousands (to
millions) of dollars to get a product to market. To build something for a
market that may not exist (3-D) in great numbers is quite risky. You have
to recoupe your costs some how. And advertising will be important, so you
can't just expect that if you only charge a few pennies more than actual
production costs you will never make any money. Cliff, if you want to
invest time and money on a product that you can practically give away to the
public, then go ahead. If it is not low quallity I would purchace it.
