Art vs. Ego

In the discussion of "Art" vs "Ego", cast my vote on the side of there being
a difference between 'Quality' and 'Happenstance'.

I Just don't accept, for example, that John Tesh is in the same league as
Beethoven!

The same holds for images by Picasso, vs 'Dogs Playing Cards'!
