Re: Stereo Weddings

Like Dr. T. I also recently attended a friend's wedding
(weekend before last) with my trusty Realist. I developed
the slides and selected 6 to make into a gift set (w/$3
viewer). It was an outdoor ceremony on a perfect day, and
the slides were excellent. The bride, a co-worker, just
came by to say how much she enjoyed the slides. What I
found interesting was that she said the "pro's" shots of
the ceremony were all overexposed to the point that all
detail in her dress was lost. The Realist slides are the
best record of the wedding ceremony. Score another point
for the Realist, and even more interestingly for the "Sunny
16" rule ... I had forgotten my light-meter so used F 16 at
1/100 w/ Fuji Sensia 100. Just goes to show - expensive
gear can't take good photos by itself ...

Now I have the "perfect" wedding gift - I'll never have to
buy another toaster ;-)
