I am not attempting to undermine "Realist" type stereography -
Neither am I trying to convert its adherents.

I was merely trying to respond to the notion that it is
the ONE TRUE way to do stereo.

Why, if the truth be told, I have some of those funny cameras
with two lenses myself.  They are great fun.

Cheesecake is delicious to eat.  The fact that it isn't good for
your health (if you eat too much) doesn't mean it isn't the other
thing Charlton Heston brought back from the mountain.  I just know
it isn't the ONLY thing he brought back.

I also suggest it wasn't apples which were Adam's & Eve's downfall -
it may very well have been: 
cheesecake...
or peach ice cream...
or rhubarb pie...
or...  is it lunch time?
