This idea is not new and it has be done in the past in several ways and by
several individuals.

Basically, ONE person has ownership of the "exhibition" and is in charge of
putting it together and distributing.  This person asks others to donate
images and he copies them in the appropriate format and returns them.  He
then decides how the show (here, I called it a show assuming that it is a
slide show) will be distributed.  Usually it goes to stereo clubs, NSA
conventions and also educational institutes and others places of general
public access.

Usually there is one person or one organization in charge.  I know that Ron
Labbe, Jon Golden, Bob Bloomberg, the Stereo Club of So. California have
done it.  Even in Detroit, x-president Steve Kiesling put together a show
called "Michigan Magic" (excellent show!) which was shown in Detroit, NSA
Atlanta and will soon hit the road in different stereo clubs.

If you want to do something similar, you have to decide on the format and
ask people to loan images which you will have to copy (if they are slides)
or ask for copies (not many people will let you have their best originals
and you need their best originals to show the best 3D possible!)

I am sure people will give specific suggestions but you have to decide that
you are in charge, willing to do all the work and willing to make all the
decisions.  Then it will be your exhibition.  Sounds non-democratic but it
is much easier to do it this way.  That's what Elliott did with Expo1 and 
that's why it was such a success!
