May I also recommend one of George's Power Supplies?

I am a PS-1 user, and I _really_ like it. It is very well engineered,
constructed, and allows you to fine tune brightness on a slide-by-slide
basis.

At $35ish, I have easily saved the cost of the unit in batteries during
slide mounting marathons alone!
