Hello everybody.
I had a bit of ladyluck come my way today.
I called somebody this morning in Hallowell, ME who I remembered had some
photographica when I was visiting that area weeks ago.
I asked this person if he still had this 3d camera he had last time I was
there.
He was asking $150. Somebody told me to ask him to come down to $100 And
he sort of did, $110. (Thanks George for the inspiration to ask)
Basically here's what I got for$110:
A never used, stored, flawless, Graflex Stereo Graphic camera with the
original dealer tag still on it. It has the original cowhide made in the
great US of A case and a mint condition Graflash P-L flash hood.
I was going to get a Loreo. Good things come........
Actually I won't say anything about the Loreo that's bad, because, I am
still going to get one sometime. But Theres just something about a good
ole 50's USA made stereo camera. Those of you who have 'em know what i
mean....when you hold that camera in your hands. Oh I forgot to mention
the NM (near mint) instruction booklet. This guy hadsome nice old VM
reels too. (like the waterskiing women from the 50's
one......growwwwwwl!) He had a brown issue VM viewer for $4.00 NM
condition. I'll be paying another visit soon.
Well, I don't wan't to hog up any bandwidth so in closing, I'll quote
from the booklet on the Depthmaster lens system in my camera.... "Compare
the slides taken with any other stereo camera and the slides taken with a
Stereo Graphic and you will see the difference. Streo Graphic slides
arealways in focus from foreground to background."
