like that on purpose..." i.e. bright metal exposed. I can't believe any
camera or optical designer would do that on purpose and only Americans
would be shrewed enough to claim it as a feature. I think the Verascope
designers who have made stereos longer then anyone as Jules Richard,
were just so preoccupied getting that mono stereo switch in that they
didn't worry about it. Did you ever see the pressure plate on a Kodak
35? A brilliant piece of polished chrome. Maybe that's to amplify the
anti-halation backing?? :-) BobH
