Yes and no. I agree with it's apparent depiction of reality, but as far as
abstract expression, the field can be even more wide open in 3D than in 2D.

Three examples of 3d weirdness: Extreme grain for effect, and the effects of
subject movement between exposures for left and right views ( as in a single
camera on a sliding bar, and the effects of two different exposures. Some "
Realists" ( not the camera) would consider these diversions from reality
blasphemous, and send them straight to the garbage pail. But to others, the
apparent rivalry between the eyes could be the desired affect, and highly
entertaining ( Notice how I haven't used a particular 3-letter word?
)Strobing speckled skies as a stereo effect can be better than drugs, or
pointillism with depth.

What do you call examples like this? Abstract Reality? ( Please don't say "
Garbage")
