Thanks to all who answered my contrast questions. Not a lot to debate, as
all replies were intelligent and informative. My file of useful 3-D
information is bursting with little snippets from these digests. If you guys
ever decided to put out an actual 3-D publication, it would certainly be the
definitive !

I think there's lots of advanced users here anyway. If they can understand
what we're talking about, then they could probably find an application for it.
