Perhaps overlooked is the fact that the index pin can be adjusted so the
frame line to be cut is exactly in place. The index pin being in one of
the perfs. And then you just advance 5 perfs or 7 perfs etc.for the
camera format. What may not be well known is that once adjusted on a
film THAT ADJUSTMENT IS FOR THE CAMERA THAT TOOK THE FILM and may have
to be reset if another Realist or camera film is cut the next time. (In
a sense you can tell which camera the film came from by whether the
cutting point is still lined up.) BobH
