5 perf cutters, plus some questions

I've been using a standard 35mm film (as in movies) splicer for about 5 years
now and it works great.
Pins hold the film tight so it cuts exactly between the perfs. I got it from
my old work when we abandoned editing on film for computer-based non-linear.
I'm not sure how much they would go for nowadays, but they are in plentiful
supply.

I highly recommend em!

Questions:
I finally got around to fixing an old Nimslo I was given, but I don't have a
flash for it.
Anyone know how to set a flash for use with it, or if it uses a standard type
of dedicated flash?
It seems as though they wouldn't have tried to 'reinvent the wheel' and you'd
be able to use a canon or pentax or etc. flash with it.

I didn't receive digest 1581. Is there any way to get those messages now? 
Is there another way to be on this list and receive individual messages,
instead of digests? Or is there a way of accessing them in more of a bulletin
board format?
