One more reason I like the magnifier is for culling bad slides. I can
see if the focus isn't sharp more easily with magnification rather than
without. So, I don't waste time with a pair that I would otherwise have
to cut, mount and put in my viewer before making the keep or toss
decision.
BTW, I'm not 100% sure my cutter came from Reel 3D - maybe 92.3% :-),
but I am sure it's a Hamma. I'm still hoping someone knows whether or
not this cutter is still available as new somewhere, or will I have to
look in the used marketplaces?
